By specifying Checkpointing in job sequence properties, if we restart the job. Then job will start by skipping upto the failed record.this option is available in 7.5 edition...
i want ti know is the option avalible in JOB.

i mean is there any other way we can see the job is completed or not .

is the command we execute in mainfarme system or its a process .

if log view fails ? while running the JOB ..how should i find out wether job is completed or not ?

Suppose i hv developed a JOB which consists of 5 compontents , after executing 3 components the job fails , when next time i start a job it should start from component 3.
how to do that ( i compared the concept with ab initio checkpoint)..
