Hi all Notable one: DataStage logging was changed at release 8.1 to log job run detail records into the operational repository, (xmeta) rather than the local project level log files, (RT_LOGxxx) that we utilized in prior releases for each job. Hi
I use the ACTIVATE NOT LOGGED INITIALLY clause in the before sql of my DB2 stage when I want to perform conditional delete.
It works fine but if the sql command following it failed for whatever reason the table will not be available.
You'll have to drop/create it.

Hi All
I think i found why my hashed file was corrupt sometimes.
I did all by myself.
In my job control i made a mistake in the execution order.
So the job who read the hashed file start before the job who writes was finished.
It's in my opinion just a matter of seconds.

Hi all, Maybe should i create a new topic but i want to let you what i found with RowProcCompareWithPreviousValue. I use it to eliminate duplicate records in a transformer. The strange thing is that sometimes i had false duplicate. ex 330285131|20081130 330285131|20081230 --> 0 330285131|20081231 --...

Hi All
Just to let you know that the job didn't abort two days in a row without doing anything.

Maybe an another job in the production corrupt the hash directory.

Yes it does because the hashed file is the input file.
So when it's corrupt the job abort with Cust_ID null.
