We have couple of projects and the issue occurs with both these projects. Also, I can open/view jobs from designer and can open all th...

I do not see a resolution here, why is this topic is marked Resolved without an actual resolution?

In 8.1 there is an option to write the logs to the File system instead of the repository, are you using logging to the file system? If yes then this could be the source of the issue. workaround would be to delete the jobs from Director.

Delay in job start from sequence

Hi I have a Job Sequence (Sequence P) as follows Multi Instance Server Job (Job A) -> Job XY -> Multi instance Server Job (Job B). We are often noticing that there is a lag before either Job A/ Job B is started. Following are the log messages 1. 7/11/2010 11:45:41 PM Starting Job Sequence P. 2. 7/11...

SAP IDOC Load Performance too slow

Hello Gurus, We are trying to load around 150K vendors data through IDoc Load stage running sequentially and its taking days, not just hours. We tried increasing the packet size to 50 and also, changed the trigger from immediately to trigger by background program, but no change in performance. Can a...

Here is the way I did it with ODBC Stage.

Change Datatype to VARCHAR and append the time part to it and load it as VARCHAR for insert/update and it should work.

This post was really helpful, thanks to all of you

I may have found out the problem. But not the solution. I'm unable to compile any NEW job which involves a transformer. All the jobs that are created before yesterday are running fine. Even if I create a copy from the existing job, or save as the existing job, i'm unable to compile the new job. The ...

ArndW,
the answer is "yes". All other jobs which have transformer stage compiles and runs fine without any problem.
Before going to assume that it is a bug, does 121 columns from a complex flat file stage into a transformer makes any difference?

Thanks for the information Kryt0n. My problem was solved. But this is not due to the Packed decimal fields. Below is the problem and the solution I implemented to make it work. There are the 4 types of fields listed in the copybook and below different phases of changes I found for these fields. Copy...
