I have some doubt regarding maxuproc parameter.The Datastage manual says that it should be 100 per CPU on solaris OS.Our Datstage server is having 12 CPUs and is on Solaris 9.
We have set this value to 400 earlier.
Should we change it to 1200?
Please advise.

Try to login with admin user i.e dsadm and create a test project.Then try to login with other user id.

Also check whether impersonation mode is enabled on Datastage server.

I have enabled autostartup for DSEngine, so it will start automatically when the server is booted.
Now I want the autoshutdown of DSEngine , so the DSEngine is stopped cleanly when the server is shutdown.Similar to way we do it manually by using uv -admin -stop.
