In version 7.x, the USFIRSTN.TBL file could be edited and first names added (to identify BOBB as ROBERT and as a Male). However, in version 8.0, I see no obvious way to add a name, its cooresponding MatchFirstName and GenderCode to the FIRSTN.TBL file. Any suggestions for this in 8.0? Thanks!

Am receiving error "Rule Set 'xxxxxx' is locked by user 'xxxxx'" when trying to open (or use in a job) a PREP ruleset. Is there a way to unlock the ruleset via QualityStage Client?

QualityStage (7.x and 8.0), with the CASS add-on, will definitely perform all of the functions on your list...as well as deduplicate customers (if desired) and standardize names, phone numbers, taxid.

Yep...simply add or remove the characters from the striplist in the .pat file. The striplist and seplist are close to the top of the .pat code.

Thanks, but I already had that defined as the QualityStage input file name (INFILE). This plugin was originally created to call a Standardize job, and I changed it to call a Prep job...should I have created a new plugin? I changed all of the parameters to correlate to the Prep job, but get that erro...

I believe this is an issue with certain versions of QualityStage Client. You can either install the newest version of QualityStage Client or just add your Survive rules manually on the server (the Suvive rules are in a file).

I've set up a Match job which reads in two files. I'm getting plenty of good matches, but the output file contains many of the same match.
