Hi,

If you use sort command in UNIX, you can reject duplicated records using -u parameter and in that way you avoid the routine.

Hi,

Do a

Code: Select all

netstat -a | grep dsrpc | grep -v LISTEN
and you don't see anything, some times some connections exists (CLOSE_WAIT, ESTABLISHED, LAST_ACK, TIME_WAIT, FIN_WAIT).

In my experience, DataStage can bringin down but the real problem is when you try to bringin up the server.

Hi venkatpendyala,

I think you can do what you want if you:

1.- Export all your proyects
2.- Delete / Create all your projects adding an auto-purge option by default for each project using the number of days/runs you want
3.- Import your exported projects

I hope this can help you.

Hi bmeissk, The best/sure I know way is that you export all your projects, backup your dsenv, uvconfig and dsdeadlock.config files, then uninstall DataStage Server. And then install a new DataStage in your new path and use your backup configuration files to set up, then import/compile your projects....

What timing use in deadlock

Hi, I was read about deadlock using search but I can't find information about the way to determine the time to use, so I ask you. What's the best delay of the frecuency in deadlock? The default is 900s. For a time I use 600s and I see some things that make me think that deadlock bloked some jobs. Ca...
