Even we are using the MQ Plugin to load Xml files into Datastage environment..

Hi!
I was trying to convert 20040202 format to 2004-Feb-02
I used
Oconv(Iconv('20040202', 'DYMD [4,2,2]'),'D-YMBD [4,3,2]')
But, it gives me
2004-FEB-02

Don't shout at me.... :(
I have gone through 12 pages of search....
worked on it...cameup with this solution..but,...

Yes!..I think its not a datastage issue.
But,I am writing the same output to sequential file and Oracle.
I failed to understand one thing that,'Y is it not loading to sequential file,if it is a database issue?'

Oracle load error

Hi Friends
I got this error while loading to Oracle table.

ADatabaseLoad..TargetDBase: ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified

does it mean that, there is a lock on target database?

Any clue???

Xml input-->Output Tab-->Columns-->Description
There you have your xml path defined for each column.

in your Xml path definition(in xml input stage) make sure that, you also enter text()
I.e:......../../../Organization/text()

string to raw conversion

Hi! friends I am using a EReplace function in my transformer and writing to a sequential file. the output is in the string format. i mean it is enclosed in '"'(double quotes) But, i need it without those quotes. i found a function called StringToRaw() in help. But, the DS does not recognise it ...
