How can I compare current record with previous record in stage variable? Can stage variable store previous record value or it is reset for every new record?

I tried searching but couldnt get to the right topic ...If any one has the link or keyword to search would be of great help.

Logic for finding sequence Gap

Source is like Col1 Col2 A 1 A 3 A 4 B 2 B 5 B 7 The target would be: Col1 Col2 A 2 B 3 B 4 B 6 I have to take into account the Max and Min value in Col2 and find sequence gaps for each unique en...

Filter Stage is Slow

Hi,
I found that using a filter stage slows the process when compared to the same condition being used in transformer stage.
We are more flexible to use condition in constarint in transformer stage than in Filter.
Then where should we use filter stage???

Extraction is very slow

Hi, I'm extracting data from Oracle database and using Oracle Enterprise stage and the db is partitioned but the problem is that the data fetching rate is very slow < 400 rows/sec. I'm using Read Method as User defined query and using columns in the where clause which is indexed. Nobody else is usin...

Hi Amar,
If you want to store your parameter values in a table a want to pass that at run time then you probably have to write a script to fetch the value from the table and pass it as parameter while firing the job through command line.

I have done the following: Type:External Function Object Type: Object External subroutine name: BinaryToDecimal Return type:long Library path:/home/man...
