Parameter visibility
Hi All,
I have a parameter say 'A', which is defined at job level and sequencer level (both are having same name). If I modify this parameter at job level , will the value at sequencer level be modified ?

Can we write to XL files using a DS job
Hi,
As per our report requirement we need to report data in XL format.
Is there any way to do this using DS job(using ODBC stage etc)
Or using the VB macro to convert .csv to .xls is the only option to acheive this?
Can anybody kindly get back on this question.
Thanks&Regards

You can pass the seq file value in the DS routine. The routime will set the parameter using 'DSSetParam ' function and call a job 'DSRunJob'.
Thanks.

The property window of job activity stage
We have recently migrated from the 7.1 to 7.5 in the test environment.
In the new environment, the property window of job activity stage in the sequence job is not opening.
Would it require running a patch.
