I'm getting Status on first run as

'A'

and on the second run status is

'A'
*********
'B'

where 'B' is the status of the job on second run.

But on the second run i should get the status as only 'B'

Yes ArndW.... i uninstalled the client - removed all registry keys...in Sys and again re-installed it... but nothing worked.... We've opened a ticket with IBM last week when this first happened - they also suggested the same thing, and walked over all the steps - and i did everything for 2days - but...

Bala, if u can see that 1 row is passing, then there is nothing wrong with the first stage... but u cannot see anything in the director log??? hmmm...have u checked "Log reject errors" in the XML input stage?? do that ...and then run ur job...in ur director log, u can see the warning msg.....

Hi Bala, What kind of error msg are you getting in the director log? when i tried out with a sample as you told, Folder stage -> XML input -> Seq file it's passing through... is ur xml passing thru folder stage to XML input stage? did u check that? if it is passing thru the first stage and u r not a...

U've never mentioned, whether u are using Server or Parallel Jobs...

And can you give more of the log - before and after this error msg line...
what stages u r using before connecting to oracle database...

maybe all those wud help to look into this issue

Hi Chowdary, sorry for the late reply, jus got to see ur msg, the XSDs are given by the vendor only, and these XSDs can be sitting anywhere on our desktop, and while importing the metadata, load - XML definitions, u can browse for file - on ur desktop, and ull get all those nodes - where u can choos...

Aliso, in the seq file, you need to give a delimiter, at the end of all ur xml records, bcoz it reads all the records(whether it is 1 record or 2 or 2000 records) like a single string... and in the seq file stage, Output tab, format - ull find a record delimiter string - so specify ur delimiter ther...
