I Think the coolest one is, DataStage is Easy-To-Use, any new developer can be productive with minimal training.

Hi All, The IBM suggested to disable the NLS settings and that does improve the performance. In Datastage 7.5, job was processing 11000 rows/second. In Datastage 8.5, with NLS enabled it was processing 4500 rows/sec and after desabling NLS, it become 8500 row/sec. Admins are still in touch with IBM....

UPDATE /*+ INDEX ACCOUNTS_TEST.ACC_PRIMEE*/ Hi Kamesh, Oracle hints needs to be given in exact syntax, and it requires a white space after the + sign at left side and before * at right side. Here we can see there is no space between index name and comment sign. So try this syntax and see if it help...

The Admins are working with Parameters like MFILES,TFILES,ULIMIT. Array Size and Transaction Size. And also opened a ticket with IBM.

So... this is a Metadata Workbench issue? :? We are facing this problem in parallel jobs. When we have big user defined sql in Oracle connector (with some 300-400 lines of sql) or while we are reading file through File Stage then the order of columns are getting changed automatically. You can pass your source file through a simple script where you can replace enter character with comma or some other delimiter and then
blank lines with enter chacter and change.

Hi All,

We have installed clients of both versions locally, now we are able switch between 7.5 and 8.1 versions using Multi-Client-Manager.
But System Admin group is still working on the solution to, switch when both versions are intalled virtually.
