i know how to use multiple instances of job.
(In designer select "Allow Multiple Instances").

but in which scenario we use multiple instances?

source table has 8 columns & target table has 9 columns.
gave a dummy value for target table 9th column(i.e surrogate key)

its giving Exception as:

SurrogateKey..Oracle_OCI_9i_6: ORA-01036: illegal variable name/number
