Would you mind posting the entries that you added to this lookup table? I remember having issues like this when the lookup table entries were not properly formatted. If you have a bad entry you could get an error specially when using CONVERT with the TKN argument. One way to know if that's your case...

Did you update the job with the new standardization Rule Set?
If yes ... try testing the rule set by itself using the Rule management GUI

You are right. From the GUI you can not add entries in a lookup table, but you can used a work around for that. Welcome! There is not an out of the box rule set to match company names, there is a rule set -USNAME- that allow you to standardized company names removing all misspelling ... There are work around, but I would suggest to add the new entries using the Rule Management GUI in the classification page.... iIf you add the new entries this way, when a new version of QS came out you won't be hit ....
