Hi, I have a column in teradata table defined as byte(2). How can I insert Hex data (say for ex: 'D0C6') into this table in Datastage. Do i have to use a Modify stage and if so, what is the conversion function needed to convert data into byte format. P.S.: from command line this is how i insert data...

hi yashwin, Why are you creating the file and then trying to rename it? If you cannot change the existing file name, then that's fine but you can parameterize the filename in the DataStage job. Add a new parameter CycleDate to your list of parameters and in the datastage job the filename can be code...

Thanks Vinod for the reply.

But the force option was to be set to "TRUE" to get the count. This was because there was only one output link from the COPY stage. When I had more than one output links, the count was being displayed with no other properties being set explicitly.
