dsintbuf_getrow() - row has 71 columns when 6 expected
This error means that DataStage found 71 columns in a row, whereas your job design has only six columns defined for that link. Can you please let us know what stage types you are using in your job design, and how they are linked together? One place this can occur is where reading from a sequential ...

dsintbuf_getrow() - row has 71 columns when 6 expected
Also, if this is coming from a Link Collector which it looks like it might, then double-check that all links into the stage provide the exact same metadata. Hi all, Thanks for the prompt replies. However, I have yet to solve this problem. JOB_STG_Staff_Contact_C..ShrContSTGcurrentM.SRT_01.Lnk_SRT_0...

Re: UVOpen Unable to Open File Hash File Error
Before a job runs, is it that the ds system will check if the hash file resource is there in the given directory? Then only it runs the job. Since the hash files are created during the job run and that I have emptied the hash directory prior to run, could this cause the error? Depending on your exa...

UVOpen Unable to Open File Hash File Error
Both those values are very small and should be raised immediately to improve performance, if nothing else. These numbers are not per-process but per-system so if you have more than a couple of jobs running at the same time they will quickly consume your available resources. Since you've stated that...

Hi again, This is another issue and I think that it could be related. I am having this character http://lrg.zorpia.com/0/1264/8089910.6c6b91.jpg appearing in my ODBC stage Enter SQL window pane. I have no idea how this is generated automatically. Initially there weren't such characters but after ong...

UVOpen Unable to Open File Hash File Error
Hi again Andrew, I disagree about the userid because there is only basically one user accessing that environment... it's just different jobs... And this error is very random. Varying from one time happening to one job and next the other... Those jobs that do not have the error occuring successfully ...

UVOpen Unable to Open File Hash File Error
Hi Andrew, Thanks for the prompt reply. That error comes from a reference lookup where by the hash file is being looked up and details are sent and compared in a transformer. The input hash file stage counterpart has been set to 'Create file' and it is set as 30 Dynamic file and that it clears the f...
