Yea probably you are right. Datastage EE is basically more of a dataware housing tool, and WTX is more about real time. So you cant move zillions of rows per second by WTX. EE looks still simple because there you dont have so many designers and wat not. Only one designer and a director. ere so many ...

PX jobs not terminating
I ahve seen that sometimes PX jobs do not terminate at all. They just hang for hours and do not do anything. Status in the director is running all the time. because they do not return any type of return code the unix shell script never also hangs. So how shall this kind of scenario be handled?? Rajesh

Comparing timestamps in a PX job
I have two timestamps and i want to compare them in a PX job. I think there is no inbuilt routine for this kind of comparison. Has any one implemented this, if yes then can i have the code and the steps to use it?
